In addition to performing at over 500 theaters and faith based events, Amy Barnes has numerous national TV appearances from Comedy Central to National Lampoon. This engineer turned comedian was selected as one of the new faces of comedy at the Montreal International Comedy Festival and from that point on she has entertained sold out shows all across America. Her stand-up connects with a cross generational relevance, her audience interaction connects strangers with that one of a kind experience and her singing takes her show to the next level of live performance. A quick witted stand-up comic with an amazing voice will leave you feeling like you reconnected with an old friend.

  • There is parking at the newlife Training and Event Center. In the event that additional parking is needed, the AMC back parking lot as well as the YMCA lot are available.

  • Check-in will be digital. Your name will be your ticket to the event. Please ensure that all of your tickets have an accurate name attached to them. If you need to make an adjustment to your tickets, please email breakaway@newlife.tv with details.

  • Yes! Any attendee needing ADA seating and one other person in their party will be accommodated. Please email breakaway@newlife.tv and let us know so we can be prepared for you. When you arrive at Breakaway, see an usher for assistance in finding your seat!

  • There is no child care for this event.

  • While families are extremely important to us, we are unable to accommodate children at this conference, and children will not be allowed in the main sessions. Please make alternate arrangements for any childcare needs. For Nursing Mothers, we will have TV’s streaming from the auditorium throughout the Training Center. Please visit the Info Desk onsite for any needed assistance.

  • Coffee, water and light snacks will be provided throughout the event. Meals are on your own. Here are some local restaurants.

  • During the conference, you may find you need to talk to someone about what’s going on in your life or ministry. You might want to ask for advice or receive spiritual counsel. A Care Team will be available throughout the conference to discuss issues like ministry challenges, marriage and family situations, interpersonal relationship problems, burnout and anything else you’d like to talk about or pray over.

  • Your Bible (if you don’t have one, we have one for you), a journal, a light jacket (the building is air conditioned) and some cash for the store!
